Center for Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBC3) is a non-profit organisation set up to develop SBCC (Social and Behaviour Change Communication) interventions, using evidence-based behaviour sciences, to resolve critical issues addressed by development sector. We are also a UNICEF Partner agency in Maharashtra, working to end Child Marriages in

Maharashtra.


SBC3 develops and uses SBCC methods for own programmes targeting the issues of Adolescent Mental Health and Child Sexual Abuse. In addition, SBC3 also develops and implements SBCC based interventions for causes as commissioned.


Our Programmes:


  1. Energetix: helping adolescent’s ability to cope with stress/pressure under this .
  2. Sensitive Parental Guidance(SPG): Guidance to strengthen Parenting skills and make parenting of adolescents a rewarding experience.
  3. BuddyApp: a Mobile App. with wearable band to help address teenage depression.
  4. Generation Next- Protection from Abuse to Stay Safe (GNX-PASS): sensitising children from 3 to 16 years on sexual abuse, Personal Safety and safe Online behaviour.
  5. School is the Change: providing a platform for school children to influence community on Social Issues

SBC3 is a UNICEF Partner agency in Maharashtra, working to end Child Marriages in Maharashtra. Currently, we are working in two projects with UNICEF:


  1. Sakshyum- A program working towards ending child marriage through Advocacy Resource Tools.
  2. Community Radio Station (CRS)- A program aimed to empower the CRS in Maharashtra to produce their own broadcasts.
